How bad would a 5" waist difference on pants be?
I'm on ebay right now since a lot of the jeans are much cheaper than retail price. I've been looking for pants but most of the ones I really like are at least 5" too large in the waist. Would it be okay if I wore a belt, or would the belt not help much and they'd still look too big for me?
5" is way too much to play with when it comes to the waist in pants..it's not just the waist either. It's the cut of the thigh and the hips and it won't look right belted. You'd have to get the entire pant tailored to fit you correctly. You don't want to look like a skater punk with those ridiculous pants down to their knees..that is the most ignorant fashion trend I've ever seen in my life....but I digress...Don't buy them.. too big. you'd regret it.
