Why do the Pittsburgh Steelers helmet only have the logo on one side?
No wise cracks please. I've always wondered why the Pittsburgh Steelers only have their logo on one side of their helmets. First one to respond who actually knows, and gives me a fact based answer that can be checked out, gets the ten points.
it was supposed to be temporary to test the new logo but was made permanent because it was unusual and sports superstitions. here is a link about the meaning of the logo which explains the one-side history.
