Core Wire
Where can I get solid core wire?
I'm doing an LED mod on my wii classic controller. I have everything but the solid core wire. I went to radio shack and they had no idea what I was talking about. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Off to the hardware store 
Solid core wire is just a fancy term for solid hook-up wire. There are two kinds of wires: stranded and solid. Stranded wires are wound from many solid strands, similar to a piece of rope. Solid wire has just one big strand.
Most hook-up wire is stranded, but there is solid wire too, and if radio shack doesn't have it, you can go to a hardware store or a home improvement store.
The word "core" must have thrown them off the track.
